Kevin 'Magic' Wand – as he was nicknamed by his Baa-Baas team mates – has had the time of his life as the 23rd Barbarians squad member. See what Kevin got up to below.
After a difficult decision by a judging panel led by Will Greenwood, Kevin Wand from Lincolnshire was chosen as the 23rd member of the Barbarians Squad. Father of two and U9s rugby coach Kevin spent a whole week as part of the all-star team as they prepared to take on England for the MasterCard Trophy at Twickenham.
Here’s what ‘Magic’ Kevin had to say:
“This has been the best week of my life. The Baa-Baas made me feel so welcome - it’s unbelievable to think that I’ve been able to be part of this legendary team and have had the opportunity to get to know players like Xavier Rush, Byron Kelleher and Paul Sackey.”
